Choreographer, performer and stage designer, Theo Clinkard has swiftly built an international reputation for creating compelling and visually arresting dance works. He is an Associate Artist at Brighton Dome & Festival and Dance4 and an Honorary Fellow at Plymouth University.

 

 

 

 

Future company plans include 'The Elsewhen Series', a set of duet scores for gallery, museum and other non-theatre spaces that he will co-create and perform with celebrated dancer and regular collaborator, Leah Marojevic.

In 2019, he will start research on a new group work that will span a century, whilst 2020 will see the development of a new large-scale creation for premiere in 2021.

 

Current commissions include 'The Days' a duet work for acclaimed Finnish dancers Maria Nurmela and Ville Oinonen which will premiere at Pori Dance Month this December, a new creation for the celebrated inclusive dance company, Candoco, set to premiere in October 2019 and a new work with a group of young professional dancers with autism and learning disabilities commissioned by The Talent hub, that will premiere in November 2019.

 

In 2019 he will also lead technique classes and create a new work at La Salle College of the Arts, Singapore.
